Botox for migraines
« on: 27 Sep 2021 12:03PM »
I'm on a waiting list for botox treatment to try to help my chronic migraines.

Does anyone have any experience of this treatment? It was briefly mentioned during a phone consultation with the neurologist and he said we could discuss it further when my name got to the top of the list. Reading between the lines I think I'm in for a long wait.

It's not something that I have ever heard of. Have you tried low dose tricyclics?

I saw this on a tv show last week I think on channel 4, it worked for some but the lady shown found the injections painful so didn’t go back for more doses
