A game played with much enjoyment by my family at Christmas...

Here's a word, you think of something connected with it and add your own word, next person responds to your word, and so on!

Had to Google for the link between bananas and Carmen Miranda - apparently she earned the nickname of 'Chiquita Banana Girl' and wore trademark hats featuring fruit..

A Carmen Miranda sprite is a weather phenomenon related to thunderstorms, so there you go - getting a bit of an education on this thread!

So, following on from sprite, the more traditional meaning of this word:
