D Day Friday

Further to my other post Friday is fast approaching for my WCA.
I have got my bundle of evidence to take with me. What I have also done is do another copy bundle to send to the DWP decision maker on Friday so they have all the same evidence. As I do not trust the assessors.
Is this a good idea?

Well, it can't hurt, knowing how post can sometimes go astray!  And you also have a copy of everything to keep yourself, I am assuming  ;-)

There is usually a wait around before you see the assessor and this allows them to observe you eg how long you can sit while in the waiting room. It will be worth taking something to drink because all they had where I went was a water cooler which I could not manage to use.

Yes someone is taking me as I can't travel alone and on public transport. I don't intend to wait around to long as standing for along time is impossible also I can't sit on low chairs and can't sit for more than 15 mins without having to get up because of pain.
They haven't even got a drinks machine there. I have been there before so I know the layout.

Getting nervous and bit stressed about it now. I have had an upset tum all day

Also its not that I do not want to work I just can't at present. I am hoping that in 6 months time everything will be sorted etc shall I say this tomorrow

I personally wouldn't - it might provide them with an excuse to give you as short-lived an award as possible, then you'll have to go through all this malarkey again in another few months!

when you talk about what you do during the day please don't say "i go shopping" or if your asked do you socialise - one person mentioned that they like to go to music concerts so it says in the appeal papers - went to a concert last month with friend. so no problem with standing or sitting for 2 - 3 hours, can use public transport and no problem in social events or crowded places, not quite refecting an agoraphobic person with anxiety issues  >doh<

the other favourite is "visited relative who lives in village 90 minutes drive away at least once a week"  that came from person sees / speaks to relative once a week and relative lives 20 miles away but the implication is first if they drove then the can sit and concentrate for 90 minutes, they have no problem sitting for extended periods, can go places on their own and have no problem socialising  >yikes<


I am not trying to scare you really - just give as little information as possible and insist your person sits in the corner of the room and says nothing so that you can compare notes when you leave

Thankyou. I don't go shopping. Also don't go out unless hospital appts. Don't visit relatives.

I can't even get in the bath and don't have a shower so rely on someone to help me wash etc put on trousers socks shoes etc. I can't use sock aids as hands cant pull it up.

My appointment is at 1pm
 
I have copies of everything ready in an envelope for my son to post off to the dwp.

Well last wca in Oct when I turned up was cancelled and another one was made for today 6th.
Turned up and was told that since last time my file had been returned to Wembley to the OCP Team ad my GP had sent them more evidence. And to wait for a new appointment.
Now I know they sent my gp an esa113 form in July which was returned.
So what does this mean now.

Also got there at 12.50 and it was packed even standing room was tight.
