I've been racking my brain as to why Sybs should have started peeing on my bed (twice) and wheelchair cushion (once).
During July I started using Rosemary Essential Oil as it is really good for waking me up. According to the list in the link below, it *is* safe for cats but maybe the very pungent smell - because it is very pungent - has upset Sybs?
Two oils I've not used since having Sybs are Neroli and Bergamot - which I really love - are apparently toxic to cats so it is just as well I've not used them.
Anyway, I shall give away the burner (because the oil will have soaked into the soapstone) and the remaining oil to a friend who does not have a cat.

But dogs react much like humans Lavender can help quiet a dog and with November the fifth coming up lavender oil on a burner can help calm a dog if they are upset by the noise of fireworks.

Lilies, inside or out, are toxic for cats. I don't know where I heard that, but I think it's true.

We can't have lilies growing in our garden because the dog digs the bulbs up and eats them >doh<
This Daily Mail article is useful it says lily pollen is poisonous to cats

Occasionally I buy bunches of flowers from the supermarket and when these contain lilies the label always warns that they may stain and are poisonous to cats.
