One for when you're all of a zither.

It's a bit of a wobbly recording, but wonderful because you get to see the instrument and musician at work.

Smashin' fillim.

What always worries me is when the music CD from a film is more entertaining than the film is.

I love Old Man River.
I have the score.
Played it on keyboard.

I must get another keyboard, even though it will be a struggle to play it.....  >rasta<

I played the piano when I was younger, but couldn't do it now, as it requires sitting for long periods. I've toyed with the idea of a Hammer Dulcimer as a substitute, being a stringed percussion instrument. Pity they're so expensive.

Anyway, back to the filim music. Stand by your your banjos:

I like the video of space, with galaxies and our little solar system. It is wonderful stuff.  >star<

On the opposite end of the scale is this, with Paul Robeson.

Or in the case of "Titanic" when both are so awful they make you want to saw your own head off to escape.

Prabhakari - that was grand!

I thought of you and your train simulator when this one popped into my mind:

It *almost* managed to make British Rail look cool.
