That is a very good photo + it made me laugh the shadows around the cat's eyes are menacing I drink a coffee + the staff here call it my posh coffee

He he I read the thread title as coffee morning, so was thinking of cupcakes and posh crockery.

When I was small my dad was the only one in the family who drank coffee and given tea with milk in made me feel sick I followed in his footsteps. I tend not to have 'posh' coffee and it i s mostly Kenco instant that gets me moving in the morning.

I like Kenco instant Costa Rican variety. I make it using two teaspoons full and all milk per mug. Strong and rich.

Kenco Costa Rica is good but I guess I get into the routine of buying Kenco with the red lid because it is my online shop Favourites. Supermarkets can be sneaky though and sometimes the bags of Kenco look a cheaper options but it is a trick.

I do like Americano with two sugars.

Definitely no sugars. Must admit I don't see the attraction of ground coffee. Maybe more varieties to choose from but too much faff.

I'm so lazy I can't even be bothered to capsules either. Seems an expensive way to get little improvement in flavour, and faff.

I have yet to have coffee made from a capsule or a pod but when they were first being advertised by the hunky actor from the tv show ER I wondered what the fuss was about. I agree about them being expensive, and also thought the cost in calories and environmental damage was not worth it.
