Visible at last

I have had a horrible, horrible week in hospital and come home with a bigger op than expected.  They also gave me a respiratory infection and cysctitis.  Lab on strike so urgent blood tests could not be done.
 
But the GOOD NEWS is that the programme for which I was a case study was broadcast last night.  It was Wales this Week and all case studies were decent, genuine people and not the usual scrounger or fraud or lout the media like to portray us as.  It was about fuel poverty and India, my cat, insisted on co starring.

I thought it was well edited and spoke up for us instead of agin us.  Well done ITV

Actually I am really sorry to learn that your body defensive system is so low that you do pick these infections up so readily.  I sincerely hope that you recover well at home.  I was wondering how you were getting on.  Are people visiting you at home and looking after you?

Respiratory infection gone. Cystitis gone.  Infected wound swabbed and awaiting results.  Still stuck in bed as too painful to sit up but my carers, friends and neighbours are great and all rallying round.

Trying to work out how I can write Christmas cards lying down - all suggestions welcome.

I was on Radio Five Live last week! There was a programme about people's attitude to disability and I emailed them and received an email back asking if they could have my phone number and actually speak to me. I told them I didn't have a radio voice but after talking to a researcher I agreed to go on, being interviewed live by Victoria Derbyshire. Only one person I know heard it.
