A new approach to integrating social care with NHS services

Copied below is an article published in the Guardian examining how Northumberland is bringing social care and NHS services together in an holistic approach, much like it used to be before Thatcher dismantled it, and they are bringing much more in house rather than handing money over to shareholders. Simple and effective.
It's worth a read if you feel up to it.
